November 20, 2020 – The global editors of National Geographic Travel have taken a close look at the entire planet and have named the Space Coast as one of the top five destinations worldwide recommended for families. The area also was named one of 25 places worldwide recommended for travel in 2021.
April 22, 2020 – Today saw another round of Starlink Satellites launched on a SpaceX Falcon 9 from Kennedy Space Center, Florida’s hot spot for launch and a global aerospace growth center.

May 6, 2019—Northrop Grumman Corp. was awarded a one-year, $38.7 million contract by the U.S. Navy to provide software support for its E-2D Advanced Hawkeye. Most of the work will be performed in Melbourne, where Northrop Grumman has more than 3,000 workers.
February 19, 2019—Manned test flights are on the schedule for this year, working toward the day when astronauts are once again lifted into space aboard vehicles launched from the Space Coast.
