As we bid adieu to 2024 and usher in 2025, I want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible progress we’ve made as a community and the exciting opportunities that lie ahead.
The master-planned community of Viera on Florida’s Space Coast continues to flourish as a vibrant place to live, work, and play—a testament to the collective efforts of our outstanding and dedicated team, area stakeholders, partners, businesses and residents.
Building a strong organization and community is much like playing hockey—a game I started playing with my brothers during kindergarten in my backyard on a rink that my Dad would flood each year. All require vision, teamwork, and determination. As Wayne Gretzky famously said, “It doesn’t matter who scores, as long as the team scores.” In hockey, success comes from each player understanding their role and working together toward a shared goal, adapting to challenges as they arise. Similarly, in Viera, every home built, every park and school opened, every road paved, and every business launched is a result of our teamwork and shared purpose.
As we plan for the year full of possibilities ahead, let’s continue to embrace these values. Our commitment to thoughtful development, sustainability, and facilitating opportunities for value creation and connection inside and outside our boundaries will remain at the forefront of everything we do. Together, we will ensure that Viera remains a community where families thrive, businesses grow, and friendships flourish.
