Airport Expansion to Create 500 JOBS

November 13, 2019 — According to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, the $3.9 million infrastructure grant for Orlando Melbourne International Airport on Florida’s Space Coast could result in Brevard County adding 500 new jobs.

Construction will start just west of Embraer on a 59-acre parcel of land, one of the airport’s largest.  The improvements are expected to attract major aerospace projects with high-paying, high-skilled jobs.

The construction is expected to be completed within a year.
