July 26, 2024 – Ford’s Garage has joined the exciting restaurant scene around Borrow’s West in Viera.
July 25, 2024 – With consistently high scores across the board, Viera High School has been awarded a “A” grade by the Florida Department of Education for the 2023-24 school year. Brevard County schools, taken collectively also got an A.
July 18, 2024 – Former Viera Hawks pitcher Dylan Jordan was chosen by the Los Angeles Angels in the 5th round of the MLB Draft, as the 143rd overall pick. Former VHS catcher Alan Espinal was called up in the 11th round of Major League Baseball’s draft as the third pick by the Colorado Rockies, making him the fourth VHS player ever to be drafted.

The new 131-room hotel is slated to open Summer 2024.
