Viera High School One of the Top 30 in Florida

February 25, 2025 – MONEYINC.COM recently released their list of the 30 Best Public Schools in Florida and Viera High School made the cut. Considering how many high schools there are in the state, that is a pretty impressive accomplishment.

According to MONEYINC, “These top-ranked institutions are known for their rigorous curricula, dedicated teachers, and track records of preparing students for future academic and career achievements.”

Coming in the list at #27, here’s what MONEYINC says about the school: “Viera High School, located in Viera, Florida, is a highly regarded public institution serving students in grades 9-12. The school was established in 2006 and has quickly gained recognition for its academic excellence.”

“Viera High School offers a diverse curriculum, including Advanced Placement courses and dual enrollment options. Students can choose from a wide range of electives and participate in various extracurricular activities.”

“The school boasts modern facilities, including well-equipped science labs, a state-of-the-art media center, and advanced technology in classrooms. Athletic programs at Viera High School are also strong, with numerous teams competing at high levels.”

And as a testament to the quality of Brevard Public Schools, the top 30 list also recognizes two more high schools on the Space Coast of Florida: Edgewood Jr/Sr High School in Merritt Island and West Shore Jr/Sr High School in Melbourne.

To boast 3 of the Top 30 High Schools in the state shows how important education is to the quality of life in our area.  Viera couldn’t be more proud of the teachers, administrators and the students who have made this recognition possible.  Go Hawks!
