Amazing Explorers Academy STEAMS Ahead

October 14, 2022 – We’re proud to have Amazing Explorers Academy in Viera and also to have them as a sponsor of the Viera Harvest Festival to be held tomorrow at Viera Regional Park from 10 am to 2 pm.

Amazing Explorers follows a curriculum developed in conjunction with early childhood learning doctorates to teach young children skills in science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM).  According to their website, Science is the foundation of children’s learning about their world. At a young age, children need time and encouragement to explore, investigate and learn in natural ways.

Fulfilling this need seems to be paying off not only for the students, but for the parent company as well. The first school opened in Orlando five years ago and the Academy is now operating in 13 locations primarily in Florida and Texas. In the next year, the company’s plan is to have more than 20 schools, with 16 in the Orlando area.

It’s never too early for children to learn the importance of science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM), especially here on the Space Coast, where these skills are in high demand.
