Viera Wins ALL SPORTS for 2nd Year
May 10, 2019—For the second consecutive year Viera High has won the Barbara Caywood Cape Coast Conference All-Sports Award, an annual honor given to the Brevard County public high school sports program accumulating the most points over an academic year.
The school compiled 278 points during the 2018-19 year among the 16 public high schools in the conference. It was the sixth overall win for Viera.
Hawks teams won or shared championships in six (girls swimming and diving, girls golf, softball, boys lacrosse, girls lacrosse and boys track and field) of the 23 sports contested by the CCC, and Viera finished among the top four in 16 sports.
