AMAZING EXPLORERS Academy to Open In Viera

December 27, 2019 – Amazing Explorers Academy will soon open a new campus in Viera on the west side of Stadium Parkway with a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics) curriculum. The academy encourages a hands-on, play-based approach to learning.

The school will offer STEAM focused learning for infants to one year of age, toddlers and preschool age groups. Additionally, Amazing Explorers Academy offers daycare, before and after school care and summer camps (ages 5 to 12). Once open in Viera, Director Lisette Raynor said they also hope to have community events and activities.

Raynor said the programs are infused with activities to engage and inspire young minds with features such as a digital technology and art studio designed to emulate spaces at Apple and Pixar. Preschoolers can learn early design, programming, robotics and coding.

An art studio within the facility emulates spaces at Apple and Pixar. The focus will be on various areas, including forensic science, engineering, digital technology, robotics, coding, programming and design.

The school also emphasizes healthy meals and active lifestyles (in partnership with Nemours Children’s Hospital).The school collaborates with the University of Central Florida on curriculum planning.

There are six Florida campuses of Amazing Explorers Academy (seven once the Viera location is active) each with its own unique STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) experience room.

Amazing Explorers Academy will be located at 8911 Trafford Drive, Viera, Florida. A tentative opening for the Viera location is scheduled for this summer.
