May 15, 2023 – A recent article in Viera Voice has some striking facts about where Viera is today and where the master-planned community is going, according to Todd Pokrywa, President of the Viera Company. Here are a few of the numbers:
Viera Demographics – Median Age: 49.1, Average Household Size: 2.43

- 27.4% Baby Boomers
- 20.5% Generation X
- 17.9% Millennial
- 18.1% Generation Z
- 5.3% Alpha Generation
- Viera Current Population: 33,704
- Population by 2050: 70,000
- Current number of housing units: 13,870
- Housing units by 2050: 31,000
Looking at the people of Viera, we see that 46% have four-year and/or graduate degrees, with 11% working in the service industry, 16.6% have blue collar jobs and 72.4% are white collar. 83% of Viera residents are homeowners and the homes’ median value is $325,519.
Another interesting number: in the 2022 Johns Burns Real Estate Consulting data of master-planned communities, Viera ranks #8 in the nation.
Viera, it all adds up to a thriving community and a great place to live.
