Viera High Special Olympics VBALL TEAM WINS MEDAL

May 22, 2019 — Recently, at the Special Olympics Florida State Summer Games, Viera High School’s Special Olympics Unified Sports Volleyball team took the Bronze Medal.

The team lost a first-round match against the eventual Gold Medalists, Palm Beach County, but fought back to take the Bronze at the games held at Disney’s Wide World of Sports in Orlando.

The Viera High School Hawks Unified Sports flag football team also won the Bronze this past November in the Special Olympics Florida State Fall Games at Disney.
