Viera Charter School EXPANSION GROUNDBREAKING

November 5, 2019 –  VIERA, FLORIDA – Nov. 7 marks the groundbreaking ceremony for the school’s 43,000 square foot expansion.

The Viera Charter School expansion site of 4.6-acres is adjacent to the current kindergarten through eighth-grade school which services 1,054 students. The new two-story building will include a 10,000 square-foot gymnasium, state-of-the-art classroom spaces, a multi-purpose space and a new lunchroom, which will accommodate approximately 550 new students in kindergarten through eighth grade. Viera Charter School was established in 2013. The anticipated completion of the expansion is projected to be the end of the 2020-21 school year.

The groundbreaking event will begin at 9 AM adjacent to the school, located at 6206 Breslay Drive in Viera.
