VHS Music Students Make All-State

December 15, 2021 – Congratulations to the nine instrumental music students from Viera High School who auditioned for and were presented with All-State honors.

Working in any band, orchestra or choral group takes discipline and hard work. But valuable skills are learned: teamwork, precision and creative expression, all while experiencing the joy of notes played in harmony.

The students listed below have done all that and then showed their proficiency in the areas of note accuracy, rhythmic accuracy, tempo/pulse, style and phrasing (along with other tests).  And they must accomplish this while under enormous pressure, from judges, teachers, their peers and most of all from themselves.

The students below have been through this musical crucible and came out with honors:
