New Lion Habitat at Brevard Zoo Opens
November 15, 2024 – The Brevard Zoo in Viera has expanded their Expedition Africa area, doubling the size of the previous temporary location. The three lion residents (Chobe, Karoo, and Ruahawill) will enjoy an all-new permanent habitat where they can roam in an over 15,000-square-foot area. The new habitat officially opens to the public on November 16, 2024.
And as part of fun you can even share a meal (sort of) with the big cats. It promises to be a wild breakfast for the whole family. Come on down to the Zoo for a morning of delicious food and create a piece of unique lion pawprint art to take home with you. From 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. – November 16.
