July 18, 2024 - Former Viera Hawks pitcher Dylan Jordan was chosen by the Los Angeles Angels in the 5th round of the MLB Draft, as the 143rd overall pick. Former VHS catcher Alan Espinal was called up in the 11th round of Major League Baseball’s draft as the third pick by the Colorado Rockies, making him the fourth VHS player ever to be drafted.
