Brevard’s First Baby of 2025 “Chooses” Viera
January 1, 2025 – Showing remarkable intelligence in one so young, Betty-Rose Freeman entered this world in Viera less than a half hour into the new year, taking advantage of the birth suites at Viera Hospital. By doing so, Betty-Rose became the first baby born in Brevard in 2025.
Mom Agelica thought she might be sharing her birthday of Dec 30 with the new arrival, but she is perfectly happy with the New Year’s Day date. No doubt dad Richard is equally pleased, although there is no information on how he feels about missing out on a 2024 tax deduction.
Betty-Rose is also one of the first children to be part of a new generation, dubbed “Gen Beta” to describe those born between 2025 and 2039.
Health First’s Viera Hospital opened its new labor and delivery unit in 2024 and the Birth Suites include 14 rooms for labor, delivery recovery and postpartum care.
Viera welcomes Betty-Rose to the area. Good choice, Betty-Rose, good choice.
