VHS JUNIOR IS ALL-SPACE COAST GIRLS SOCCER PLAYER OF THE YEAR
April 13, 2026 – Eva McMenemy-Hoang has had an impressive year with the Viera High School Girls Soccer team, winning the Cape Coast Conference and advancing to the Class 6A semifinals. The Hawks also won district and region titles. FLORIDA TODAY recently honored the junior by naming her this year’s FLORIDA TODAY All-Space Coast Soccer Player of the Year.

The team was also well represented on the All-Space Coast girls soccer team (these are just the players from Viera High School. For a full list visit FLORIDA TODAY):
Caroline Detwiler, Junior, Viera: Detwiler had 10 goals and eight assists for the Hawks.
Eva McMenemy-Hoang, Junior, Viera: The junior scored 25 goals and had nine assists for the Class 6A state semifinalist.
Cassidy Kirkley, Junior, Viera: Kirkley made 116 saves for the Hawks during the 2025-26 season.
Cathryn Orr, Senior, Viera: The defender added two goals and two assists for Viera.
Taylor Roberts, Junior, Viera: Roberts had eight assists and three goals for Viera.
