VHS HOMECOMING 2025
Oct 27, 2025 – It was a night of pageantry, high spirits and fun for homecoming on Friday, Oct 24. The Viera Hawks won the game 24-7 over Melbourne High to put the icing on the cake of a perfect homecoming event for students and families.
With a mild Florida temperature in the low 80s under clear skies, the homecoming court took center field at halftime to stroll in regal style through a balloon arch while being serenaded by the award-winning Viera Marching Band. Several band members were also selected by the student body to be part of the court, giving them a chance to change out of uniform and show off in suits and gowns.
The home stands, filled with students and alums, cheered out their approvals all night long and showed their colors proudly as the Hawks succeeded on the field.
Viera families are lucky to have a fine high school like VHS where excellence comes home. Go Hawks.
