VHS Girl Wrestlers place sixth in state meet
March 11, 2026 – Four Viera High School girls placed in the top eight in their weight class at the FHSAA State Wrestling Meet held from March 5-7 at Silver Spur Arena in Kissimmee. The Viera High School Girls Wrestling Team placed sixth in the state with a score of 57.
Ryauna Nepomuceno placed fourth in the 125-pound weight class. Savanah Nazario-Darnell and Elizabeth Pinto both placed fifth in their respective weight classes, and Catalina Kenney finished sixth in the 115-pound weight class.

Brevard state placers: 100: 6. Rylee Beville (Cocoa Beach); 110. 5. Elizabeth Pinto (Viera); 115: 6. Catalina Kenney (Viera); 125: 4. Ryauna Nepomuceno (Viera); 170: 5. Savanah Nazario-Darnell (Viera).
