HOCKEY HEROES FOR THE HOMELESS – COOL!

February 4, 2026 – Here’s a way to help the community and enjoy some exciting hockey action during the Hockey Heroes for the Homeless event at the Space Coast Iceplex in Rockledge/Viera on Friday, February 20 and Saturday, February 21. Money raised will benefit Genesis House, an organization dedicated to helping homeless women and children in Brevard County.

Taking to the ice during the event are NHL legends and local players, including Viera’s own hockey team led by Todd Pokrywa (left), President of the Viera Company.

Hockey fans will recognize some big names like Peter Bondra, Stu Grimson, Brian Propp, Mike Krushelnyski, along with other NHL alumni.

Admission is free, so bundle up and participate in a silent auction that will be held throughout the event featuring unique memorabilia with proceeds going to help the community.
