The Great Viera Race

Are you a fan of “The Amazing Race”? Register for The Great Viera Race, a Viera-wide scavenger hunt that involves no running and is based on the popular reality competition show.

The Great Viera Race will have pit stops at landmarks all around Viera where you will complete challenges and receive clues via WhatsApp to get to the next pit stop.

Winners will receive prizes from local businesses such as Bold Cup Coffee.

The purpose of the race is to raise money for a medical mission trip three Viera locals are taking to Kenya with One Mission Society. While in Kenya, they will work in temporary clinics that offer basic medical care, including treatments for parasitic infections, stomach ailments, and skin lesions. There will also be a small traveling pharmacy available for essential treatments.

The Great Viera Race will take place at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, April 27. The registration fee is $100 per team and will help fund the mission trip. Up to sixteen teams can register.
