May 8, 2023 – The newest middle school in Brevard County, located in Viera, recently named the newest principal. Brevard Public Schools announced Catherine McNutt will take the helm on July 1 and will then look forward to when the Central Area Middle School completes construction.
May 3, 2023 – When a nonprofit organization decided to recognize the fallen members of the Air Force Technical Applications Center in Patrick Space Force Base, the board members approached Viera Builders for a quote on the cost of a concrete pad for the memorial.
May 2, 2023 – Tomorrow is the annual national event that encourages students to walk, bike or roll to school.
April 26, 2023 – We want to congratulate the students from Viera Charter School who excelled at the district level for Odyssey of the Mind.
April 18, 2023 – Borrows West Park is nearing completion and it’s going to be a great place to enjoy the outdoors and maybe bring along a snack from one of the many fine eateries that will soon join the Viera family of restaurants.
April 2, 2023 – It’s great living on the Space Coast, with rockets taking off almost every week and with NASA preparing to return to the Moon, it’s an exciting time.
April 1, 2023 – All new construction at Borrows West has been ordered to cease due to uncovering of a rare, fully intact Cretaceous period fossil belonging to the Styxosaurus.
Congratulations to Viera High School’s boys soccer team on taking the FHSAA Class 6A state championship after a 4-2 win over Ft. Myers on Saturday!
February 24, 2023 – Just east of I-95 and on the south side of Viera Blvd, a new Lifestyle Center called Viera Station is being developed.
February 23, 2023 – We wish to congratulate Viera High Science Research students for their achievements at the Brevard Public Schools Regional Science and Engineering Fair awards.
February 22, 2023 – Viera president Todd Pokrywa recently combined two of his passions when he participated in the Celebrity Shinny Hockey Game that benefitted Easter Seals.
February 7, 2023 – Viera High athletics continues to impress with both the boys and the girls soccer teams from the school recently winning the District Championships.
February 3, 2023 – It’s fun to see all the activity around Viera, with new homes, apartment complexes and businesses springing up all around us. Here’s a quick update on three of the many projects: Auterra, a resort-style luxury living complex; Venezia, a full wine bar coming to Borrow’s West and the Nova Apartments of Viera.
January 23, 2023 – With a groundbreaking set for February 1 and an opening date of August 2024, Viera will have another great educational option with a new middle school to be built just north of Viera High School.
