Supervisor, Viera Discovery Center
Carmen was born in Maryland and raised on Long Island, NY. She began her working career in the fashion industry, starting in sales and ultimately supervising a chain of retail clothing stores and also serving as co-buyer, while attending classes at Suffolk County Community College and Parsons School of Design. After moving to Florida in 1998, she worked as an assistant to a local Realtor, developing an interest in real estate sales. Carmen later served as office manager of a RE/MAX® office and also obtained her real estate license during this time.
In 2012, she was hired as an ambassador for the Viera Discovery Center as part of the marketing team. She currently serves as its supervisor, focusing on providing lifestyle and company history information to visitors with a team of Ambassadors. She is also a member of the senior editing staff with the Viera Vision magazine.
Carmen is the secretary for the Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce B2B leads group, and is also an affiliate member of the HBCA through The Viera Company. She volunteers for various organizations and most recently, she assisted the Chamber with a donation drive for hurricane victims in the Bahamas.
In her free time, Carmen enjoys travel with her significant other, including trips to Texas to visit her sons, golfing, surfing, and photography.
