Apartments in Viera Give Renters Plenty of Choice
May 13, 2025 – Viera is a great place to live, whether would-be residents are looking to buy or rent. Florida Today recently took a look at some of the apartment options in the area and spoke with the leaders of the Viera Company.
(From Florida Today) In the fast-growing master-planned community of Viera, there are 12 apartment developments with 145 to 360 units each — a total of 3,060 apartments in all, according to Eva Rey, senior vice president for community management and communications for The Viera Co.
Most of the apartment communities are in Central Viera and Viera West, although one is in Viera East. Two apartment complexes are age-restricted, 55-plus communities.

Todd Pokrywa, president of The Viera Co., said the strength of the apartment market in Viera is, in part, “driven by sustained high-wage job growth in the commercial space, defense contracting and high-tech industries, and all of the supporting businesses here in the heart of Florida’s Space Coast. With major employers expanding in the region, demand for quality rental housing remains steady.”
Pokrywa said Viera offers a wide range of multifamily rental options, “with price points catering to various lifestyles — from elevated affordable living starting around $1,050 per month to luxury residences with high-quality amenities exceeding $3,500 per month.”
Other apartment projects are likely to be built in Viera in the future. Pokrywa said that, as Viera adds new areas to its master plan, “we will strive to continue providing a diversity of living options for both existing and prospective residents.”
Rey added that “the apartment market is strong, especially for luxury apartments. They’re doing really well. Not everybody wants the headaches of homeownership and the maintenance” that’s involved.
Rey said many people are attracted to the resort lifestyle that apartments can provide, with such amenities at the complexes as theaters, resort-style pool areas, workout areas, game rooms and wine rooms.
Many Viera apartment renters also like the urban feel of living within walking distance to shopping and dining areas in and near The Avenue Viera and other retail areas of Viera.
Throughout Brevard County, Rey said, “I’m seeing more and more apartments being built. I do think it’s a strong market” for apartment projects.
