Viera Hawks Boys Golf Team Takes State Championship
November 21, 2024 – Viera High School continues to impress with the quality of the student athletes, and last week another group of young men joined the ranks of champions by taking the Class 3A State title.
Finishing with a total of 591, the Viera Hawks Boys Golf Team also had two golfers who finished in the top five in the individual competition. Ryan Woodward’s score of 142 for two under par rounds gave him fourth place, while teammate Arth Sinha took fifth with 144.
The Viera Hawks Girls Golf Team also ranked, placing eighth overall for the state.
In a sport that takes steely nerves as well as talent, the VHS Hawks have proven to be formidable competitors. Viera congratulates both the boys and girls golf teams for excellent showings at the state level.
