Reflecting the values of Duda family, The Viera Company contributes to organizations serving the community, including Devereux School, Brevard Zoo and Harmony Farms. Today, many great fundraising events, community volunteerism, and the simple act of giving to those in need, happen on a regular basis in Viera. Local and national charitable and non-profit organizations are the focus of these efforts. Local schools also benefit from volunteer hours that continually exceed expectations.

Brevard Zoo has been built entirely by the community, from the first architectural designs to the donations of land and labor by the residents of Brevard County. Today, with a mission to conserve wildlife through education and participation, Brevard Zoo continues to introduce a wide diversity of animals from around the world to area residents.

Harmony Farms

The horses of Harmony Farms have the ability to connect with disabled individuals on a profound level. Children and adults with mental, physical or emotional disabilities come from all over Brevard County to learn to ride, interact and care for these horses. The facility’s instructors have intense equine experience and many are certified by the NARHA. The Governor of Florida has recognized a member of their volunteer staff as a Point of Light volunteer recipient.
