VIERA HOSPITAL AGAIN RANKS IN NATIONAL FORBES LIST
March 26, 2026 – Reflecting the quality of healthcare in our community, Health First’s Viera Hospital has for the second straight year been given a 5-star rating by Forbes. Of the 350 hospitals ranked nationwide, only 10 in Florida made the cut.
Forbes Overall Hospital Quality Ratings were calculated from these four weighted pillars: Outcomes (55% of the weight), Best Practices (20%), Value (15%) and Patient Experience (10%). Where a measure does not appear, this indicates that the data was unavailable, or the facility had fewer than the minimum number of cases to qualify for a rating in the measure.
According to Forbes, “This unique rating system evaluates general acute care hospitals throughout the United States to offer consumers unbiased information on which hospitals can offer top-notch, high-value medical services, no matter where they are in the country—as well as a benchmark against which hospitals can compare their performance to that of their peers.”
