Viera Builders Jumps in Rankings Among Housing Giants
September 15, 2020 – Viera Builders made the list at #107 in Pro Builder Magazine’s Housing Giants report, a jump from #192 just four years ago. Pro Builder has compiled the list for 50 years, which is based on builder’s perceived opportunities and challenges. The nation-wide ranking showed Viera Builders with 351 Closings representing more than $154M in housing revenue based on 2019 figures.
Viera Builders was also ranked #28 in the Top 30 fastest growing builders in the nation in the 2020 Housing Giants report, and was ranked #51 in the South Atlantic Region.

2020 HOUSING GIANTS QUICK DATA DIVE
- Consolidation remains a key growth driver among the Housing Giants’ top 20, which increased their market share from 20% to 24% and closed 72,000 more units than the previous year—a 23% leap-—while those below them on the list remained basically flat year over year.
- 2019 was the best year yet since the Great Recession for Pro Builder’s Giants, with a 6.3% bump in home building revenue and more than 63,000 additional units closed or completed compared with 2018.
