PORT CANAVERAL OFFICIALLY WORLD’S BUSIEST CRUISE PORT

December 11, 2025 – Cruise lovers will have lots of options for sailing from nearby Port Canaveral. The Port has earned the distinction as the busiest cruise port in the world with over 8.6 million revenue passenger movements in FY 2025. The confirmed tally is the highest number of cruise passengers in the Port’s history and amounts to a 13-percent increase over FY 2024.

A five-time recipient of “Best U.S. Cruise Homeport” award from Cruise Hive, Port Canaveral is one of the cruise industry’s most popular drive-to markets with easy access to and from modern terminals, ample adjacent parking, and convenient, centralized location. Home to some of the largest and most technically advanced ships in the world, Port Canaveral is a popular drive-to market with approximately 75 percent of passengers driving to the Port.
