Viera Charter School Students Excel at Odyssey of the Mind

April 26, 2023 – We want to congratulate the students from Viera Charter School who excelled at the district level for Odyssey of the Mind. The world-wide program challenges students to develop and use their creativity to become problem solvers and is designed to help students at all learning levels grow as individual learners, grow as team members, and to reach their full potential.

• Elem. Team Problem 1 – 1st place

• MS Team Problem 1 – 2nd place

• MS Team Problem 3 – 2nd place

3rd Grade teachers Alex Garcia and Jason Cardillo stepped up to coach the elementary teams, and both came in first place.

Middle School Coach Saxon Boucher said, “I was really proud to hear VCS called up so many times at the award ceremony.” All our teams are going to the state tournament for the 3rd year in a row.”
