New Projects Coming Soon to Viera
July 2, 2024 – Every day seems to bring something new and exciting to Viera. Here are some projects that are coming soon:
Brevard County Fire Resue 49 is nearing completion in Viera and W+J Construction has posted a video showing the progress. You can view the video here:
The new fire station will be in the southwest corner of Viera on Bower Lane, which will improve response times for existing and new businesses and residents of the area. The 8,921 square-foot, single story fire station will be home to an apparatus bay, bunker room with a lieutenant bunker room, a day room, training and an exercise room.
The Birth Suites at Viera Hospital will arrive late summer 2024. With many young families settling in the area, Health First is excited to announce the summer 2024 opening of the Birth Suites at Viera Hospital and the new Health First Medical Group OB-GYN office located near the Viera Hospital campus.
There will be 14 rooms for labor, delivery, and post-delivery care. Patients will remain in the same room throughout their stay, providing a private space for the family. Additionally, The Birth Suites at Viera Hospital will feature two operating rooms (ORs). Labor & Delivery services are moving from Cape Canaveral to Viera, one of the fastest growing areas in the region.
