December 4, 2024 – The Viera Voice annual Bright Lights Battle is about to light up the night sky as local homeowners vie for the eyeballs of Traveling Holiday Decoration Lovers (THDLs – ok, we made that name and acronym up, but the battle is real).
Sign up by December 6 with Viera Voice and fight it out for bragging rights and these prizes: Viera East and Viera West $50 First Place in each category. Best of Show $100. There’s no entry fee, so what do you have to lose? See if you have what it takes to bring good things to light. And then be on the lookout for THDLs.
Proud homeowners who want to show off their creativity and festiveness while having fun can sign up to be included on an interactive map that will help rubberneckers find them.
With categories such as “Clark Griswold”, “Digital Dancing”, “Impressive Entrance” (most festive entrance to a subdivision) and “Neighborhood Spirit” (highest total of homes registered in a neighborhood), the displays are sure to be dazzling.
