Grilling for Heroes

One Senior Place in Viera will be Grilling for Heroes on Saturday, July 25 from 11 AM until 2:00 PM, in a completely free family mega-event to honor essential pillars in our community: first responders, nurses and educators– past and present. Sponsored by Rhodes Law, P.A., the outdoor event at 8085 Spyglass Hill Road will include several grilling stations with summertime favorites like sliders, hotdogs and more. Ice cold lemonade or water from the Hydration Station will satisfy thirsty attendees, with indoor A/C and cooling stations available. Brevard County Sheriff’s Office and Brevard County Fire Rescue will be onsite with their most popular emergency vehicles, with a special guest expected from the BCSO. Kids of all ages can get their faces painted, indulge their sweet tooth with cotton candy, or choose a cold treat from the ice cream truck.
