March 14, 2019—Soon we’ll see yet another new hotel going up in Viera’s Town Center. The hotel will have 118 suites, and like the 116-room Fairfield Inn & Suites that opened up in May 2018, it is being developed by the Sycamore Investment Group which also owns and operates the Hampton Inn in Viera.

February 19, 2019—Manned test flights are on the schedule for this year, working toward the day when astronauts are once again lifted into space aboard vehicles launched from the Space Coast.
December 21, 2018–The year is ending with good news on Florida’s Space Coast. Three firms with a big Space Coast presence are big winners with nine defense industry contracts totaling more than $280 million announced in the timeframe of Dec. 10-17, 2018, capping what is already described as a banner year.
