BREVARD ZOO One of the BEST – We Knew That!

July 21, 2020 – The Brevard Zoo has been named one of the top zoos in North America by the Readers of USA Today’s 10Best website. The zoo placed in fifth place overall.  It was the only zoo in Florida to make the list and ranked the highest in the Southeastern United States. Viera residents who have visited the zoo know it is a great facility.  This can be attributed to the outstanding leadership and dedicated staff of Brevard Zoo.

“Our Zoo isn’t as big as some of the others on the list, but what we lack in size, we make up for in immersive exhibits, one-of-a-kind animal experiences, and a commitment to wildlife locally and around the globe,” said Keith Winsten, the Zoo’s executive director. “We are grateful to the readers of 10Best for their support, and we hope this draws more attention to Florida’s Space Coast.”
